About The Travel Centre of Evesham

A day in the Life of a Travel Agent
We usually arrive before opening time of 9 am in order to grab a coffee and discuss the previous day and the day that lies before us, bearing in mind that we need to be aware of world news in this job, as worldwide politics – and weather – play a major role in the travel industry.
Early in the day we often have customers coming in to book last minute coach journeys with National Express, a service that we have provided for many years, and during the day we need to find time to deal with administration and filing. Every day is different, and we may have enquiries for London shows and hotels and, being interested in Theatre myself, I am more than happy to offer suggestions for the most suitable show…a big decision since best seats can cost in excess of £70, and we also offer a wide range of hotels and enjoy finding just the right spot for each individual.
Naturally, we also sell standard inclusive holidays and family holidays and we have good knowledge of many European destinations that are suitable for families or couples, whether at luxury or budget prices. Having been here for such a long time (39 years in fact) we have many regular clients who have become real friends over the years and each of us has our own regular client base, which is so nice.
Being independent we are able to offer a huge range of holidays that are not always available at other Agencies and we have some gorgeous luxury products, action packed experiences of all kinds, with walking and trekking and all available here in the shop together with Flight Only to worldwide destinations, and they all carry insurance against airline failure. We can offer tailor made travel to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa to name just a few, an don’t forget Warners UK holidays for short breaks…check our latest prices because WE ARE COMPETITIVE.
